Is this what the iPhone 5 will look like?

Here is the first hideous mock up of what some think the iPhone 5 might look like. This image was conceived over at Joshua Topolsky's new site and it's getting press all over the web (see: here too!). I personally hope to hell it looks nothing like this, especially in the thickness, or lack there of, department. I iPod Touch 4 is hard to hold while the iPhone 4 is about as good as it gets for an Apple products. I still have the iPhone 3GS and with a rubberized back cover on it I can hold it. Without one it's like a wet bar of soap.
Here's an excerpt from Thisismynext"In a sketch supplied to us by a source (on which the image above is based), the home button is doing double duty as a gesture area; this falls in line with testing we’ve seen for gestures on the iPad, and our sources say that gestures are definitely coming in a future version of iOS. The home button will likely be enlarged, but not scrapped altogether. Furthermore, we’re hearing that the screen on the device will occupy the entire (or near to it) front of the phone, meaning almost no bezel. Our source says the company is doing very “interesting things” with bonded glass technology, and has been exploring designs where the earpiece and sensors are somehow behind the screen itself, making for a device where the display is actually edge-to-edge. Regardless, the sketch we’ve seen suggests the screen will go up to 3.7-inches while keeping the current resolution, and at that size, pixel density goes from 326 to 312 (a drop of 13ppi)."
I definitely think there is TOO thin and this would be it for me. What do you think?

"Steal This Film" Really Takes Me Back A Few Years

I just had to watch a couple videos for one of my classes. Steal This Film Part 1 & 2. Good stuff and it really took me back a few years to when Napster, Kazaa and similar sites were really popular. These are a must watch if you're a techie, nerd, geek, or the like.

Part One

Part Two

So what did you think? Are you guilty of "sharing" your music, movies, etc? I bet you are. We all are I think. But how do we solve this issue? I think both sides of the argument have a point, but who's right? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!

Greatest Viral Videos of all Time! (IMHO)

This video along with "Dick in the Box" are my personal favorite viral videos of all time. They're both catchy as hell as well as uber funny. I think what really takes both of these to the next level is that they're so well done. High production value turned into viral longevity. #EPIC #WINNING

Politics and Politicians are Useless!

Being a non-traditional student, and 37 years old, I really don’t know much about, and care even less, about the SGA. The West Virginia University has what they called the SGA: the Student Government Association. I hate most politics with a passion so to me the SGA is just a bunch of pompous people getting drunk on imaginary power. They’re all wanna-be politicians and to that they repulse me, or maybe it’s just politics that repulse me more. I’m a get-it-done kind of person so when things get caught up in red tape, or take forever to get done, that really pisses me off.

And just when I think that maybe I’m being too hard on them, something like what happened this election comes along. They have to postpone the results for basically, cheating or suspicion of cheating. How pathetic is that? Typical though, the people getting the votes to make a difference are the ones caught up in controversy.

One only need look at the recent (almost) Government shutdown by (the useless) Congress to see just how far from reality the politicians live then the rest of the normal people. More worried about what’s in it for them and status, then what they are really there for.
